Ah ... what can I say, I watched "Star Trek : The motion Picture" (the recent director's alteration of the 1979 film) on DVD and got inspired ;)
It started as a fractal image I "made" (ie, zoomed in on , panned about in and discovered by exploring a fractal generation in Kai's Power tools "Fraxplorer which came as a plugin with Painter6 ... I altered the colours and used it as a background for the whole thing.
I added the planet , spaceship (with engine thrust) and star in Painter6 and altered colours (etc).
