Love this!!!! The clouds look so soft against the hard rugged landscape. Beautiful colours too.

Looks like a great place...love the blues of the sky and the greens of the foliage, nice one!

Did you apply a texture to the sky? It has a cross-stiched look to it. Once again, you know I love your sky photos. Are you using a polorizer? Cant get mine to come out quite like this YET. Should I invest in a polorizer for these deep blues?

One of my favorite places is Zion Park, Can't wait to get back again this summer. Very nice picture. :o)

Reflection: No texture applied. The lines are from my cheap scanner... a 3 year old $99 Canoscan. It increasingly leaves such grunge. Time to invest in something much better. Yes, used a polarizer. If you like this sort of deep blue/near-purple, a polarizer works. You want a circular polarizer. Then it's a matter of getting used to the direction of the sun in relation to the angle of your shot. For me, it helps to wear decent polarized sunglasses -- the view is dynamic and I'm always aware of what might be a cool polarized shot.

Once, again, an aptly names picture. The colors in this scene are beautiful and to me, are actually more stunning than the clouds. The wierd congregation of the clouds though, add a dynamic element to the composition.
