Description


Ocean - Continent boundary, Color gradation of continent and shallow sea ,amd bump are created from only one grayscale elevation map. Mars grayscale map is downloaded from JHT'sPlanetary Pixcel Emporium. The ship is really impressiv and an interesting concept. I like the idea of a terraformed Mars, too. But I'm not sure wether this will ever happen. Do you know "Red Mars" by Kim Stanley Robinson ?

Thank you, Mr. carib98. I have already read "Mars trilogy" of K.S.Robinson except "Blue Mars". I'm waiting for Japanese version of "Blue Mars"... Oh, I want to read it soon!! I hope that sabotage of the orbitarl elevator will not be happen...

Cool pic! That definitely looks like a terraformed Mars, and I'm guessing the asteroid is one of Mars's moons (not sure which one). I doubt you could see any stars with Mars that big and bright in the sky, but never mind that, because the picture looks better with the stars there, anyway. Nice job!
