I gotta say, it looks pretty good dude, great practicing. I do think that his right arm looks a bit weird, even for this kind of pose...I think it should be lowered a bit, more like his left arm. I think the water should be distorted a bit more as well, in order to create more drama and dynamic results. As far as the textures on the creature are concerned, they are very well painted, it looks really rotten, reminds me a bit of the Iron Maiden creatures.
