Unfortunately it's the Iraqi people who defend their freedom and honour against this invading army using clusterbombs and other inhuman weapons, and hiding behind high tech billion dollar equipment to kill from a distance. This war is an eternal shame! Iraq has nothing to do with 11/9, has no weapons of mass destruction, has not tried to buy plans for nuclear weapons, has nothing to do with anthrax and has never even been a threat to the US. Yet after weakening the country for twelve years and being the cause of hundreds of thousends children that died from famine and lack of medicine, after making shure the iraqi didn't have equal weapons (scuds dat from the 1950/60), after placing itself above the UN (where they themselves pused their veto to protect their friends like Somoza, Pinochet, Noriega and Marcos, and don't forget Saddam Houssein was a friend once too), the bad economy had to be veiled by a war against a crippled and weakened ennemy. I repeat: shame! Will any of us feel any safer after this war? Will the Declaration of Independance be more respected with the upcoming Patriot2? Will the sown hate create anything else than new hate? Why can't the US not give the example of how good the American way of life is, instead of destroying by power all that is considered different from their vision? Where is the tolerance of a Jefferson?

Tooonery, you bet, thanks for stopping to see it and for letting me know. I knew the others would come to along with the typical arguments. So be it, the image isn't for them. For those that don't mind thousands of women and children are being tortured and killed by Saddam, or that the UN has called him an international threat for 12 years there is little doubt that there blindness towards what is happening will be changed with an image. This image is for those that are doing something about it, not those that care too little.

Very nice indeed, supporting our troops who are overseas defending a country whose people have not the means to overthrow a regime that is abusive to it own people, and is cruel enough to lay land mines as a means of weak defense, instead of peacefully stepping down after 12 years of peacefully trying to get this sick regime to stand down. Thanks for recoginizing those brave souls that go forth to free an enslaved society.

Aeneas, Jefferson was a slave owner how tolerant is that. Dont listen to the short sighted and uninformed - ooh3d this is very nice anyone who thinks the Iraqi people have any freedom of their own to defend is not living in the real world.

mike421 I don't think we disagree that they don't have their own freedom yet. We will probably disagree though in the near future. Ultimately I'll agree with their decision as to whether they do, after Saddam and his hoods are gone. This is for those over there seeing they have the chance.
