Another beautiful rendering! This "workhorse of the Pacific" doesn't get the respect she deserves for the roles she played in the war. Nicely done!

Incredible work (all of your images). I have never heard of Mirai -- it seems to be very powerful; did you do the clouds within this program? Where can I find more info about it?

Mirai is waht used to be Symbolics. It is the modeling package of choice at Viewpoint. I have never used a package that is more capable of generating models so quick and cleanly. I have used a number (I was employee #4 at Viewpoint 14 years ago...) Check them out at http://www.wingededge.com. Right know they are having to do a complete rebuild on their website. (take care who does your web hosting) but should have it up soon. The clouds I painted in Photoshop. Although I brought the background into Mirai, positioned my sun in relation to the background, thus being able to generate realistic ambience

This Picture looks like something I snapped out of my own camera....LOL but I don't think I would have the capablity to do that atop of another plane... so thank you so very much for providing a spectaculary clear view of what that would look like and creating such an appealing color, for the eyes. Sincerely MonVictorian.

Thank you all so much for your kind words! You can find our more about Mirai at http://www.izware.com I've used it now for about 15 years. The clouds were Photoshop I'm not much of a painter so you will have to excuse the coarsness.
