Description

Just a simple portrait of Nebula, an awesome character created by Kyrline for V3, and available in Renderosity Free Stuff. Kyrline, if you're out there, thanks so much; this gal is awesome! Just a side note: I painted this hair in Photoshop without resorting to any filters and using a mouse...and since I've never done that before, I'd appreciate some feeback on how it turned out. Thanks.

Thanks for stopping by; I appreciate the support. Peace, Morgan.

Wonderful image!! I've never been brave enought to paint hair but yours is terrific! I'd hate to meet up with Nebula on a dark night but you've given her an almost welcoming face!

Kind of scary chick,LOL. Good job on the hair. I never liked drawing hair on paper so I have been slow in drawing in Pshop. So happy I have a wacom though, man you must have a good deal of patience! Great work!!

Well Morgan..To say you painted the hair with a mouse, I have to applaud you..I've never tried at any time to paint with a mouse, left my painting until I got a wacom. So top marks for what you have achieved here.. A great portrait also..Great work!

Echoing the same admiration for the hair. (I'm still learning to draw a straight line with my Wacom!) The expression is wonderful as well, but what really makes the image for me is the choice of almost blending the background and hair tones. Very well done!

Pretty cool Morgan, the hair seems fine, but the colour is so close to the backgrounds colour makes it hard to see. Maybe some highlights to pull it away some?

Actually I like the color, it seems to blend in with the character & makes her face stand out more. Creepy character, very well done image! Great work!

I think you did an excellent job, and I applaud your patience and talent. I would never attempt hair with a mouse..Heck, what am I talking about, I don't even attempt it with my wacom...so I tip my hat to you...an incredibly talented lady :-)

The hair looks excellent! One of these days I'm going to get a tablet but I do all of my hair with a mouse. Those eyes are really something and the postwork, as always, is amazing!
