Description

As you can see I've gotten back into landscapes and terragen. However this time I'm modeling my own height fields either in 3DS or World Machine or a combination of the two. I've been inspired by the works of prutzworks and others (like Dotthy) to create unique or very natural landscapes. Today's terrain is a shot at the natural non-fantastic side of terrain modeling.

Now the comment box work. ;-) I like the pov and the terrain. The grass surface is ok even if it is better in your next pic. I'm not sure if it should be snow on the mountains. For snow you should add a third surface between grass and snow. If it is a kind of rock you can use a few more layers. Anyway a very nice picture with a good mood!
