Excellently composed photo and a great shot! Those clouds seem to be point at the tree, which in turn is pointing right back at them. Enjoyed viewing very much.

really appreciate the encouraging comments! MzQt: i scanned this from a 5x7 print, cloned out dust and scratches, sharpened a bit, then applied a slight gaussian blur to the sky to get rid of some graininess from the scan. other than that, no post work. Tedz: how did you guess? :)

The thumbnail is as beautiful as the actual picture at full size. I feel as if the tree has an aura around it keeping the clouds at bay.
