I don't know what is going on with this thumbnail, but I could not get to the 15kb size without reducing it to this awful quality.

I like the surface in this pic. Did you try to sharpen the thumbnail?

Nope, I didnt try to sharpen it. Usually I use a setting of about 4 for JPG quality when I save the thumbnail and it almost always is small enough. With this one, I had to use a quality of 1.
