This is an illo that benefits from being dark, instead of just being hard to see. Perfect.

Ohhh... The Waves, THE Waves!!! Are lovely :-D Although the Hydra does not like make the picture worse :P But the waves!... Anyway Awesome... The only thing I can think about is where the hydras cut the water. It's not showing =/ But don't mind that cuz I can't do it better :P This is really the atmosphere you thought of when you first saw the hydras... (Atleast me=)

Thx for the comments! SlizenDize you are right about cutting the water. I noticed that but... ;) Hydra is from Poser so it has the original poser texture

Nice Pic. Although as SlizenDize said.. Hydra/water cut could enhance it a lot. Also Maybe a little Motion blur on the hydras. There is something about their detail that catches my eye.

Oh that's just really neat looking. I agree about the Hydra water cut.

Did you animate the ocean scene before rendering the "shot"? then the monster wouldn't just poke out so sharply without clashing with the waves. I like it though!!!!

Waves are great but with the particlular efect of the water splashes it could look much better :P. And i agree with the previous speaker - there aren
t any clashes with the necks. The sea monster doesn
t look so real... but the whole looks quite harmoniously. Keep goin` :)
