Description


When I saw the US Marines using dolphins to tag mines in the gulf I wondered How far will man go in the pursuit of war this is the image that sprang to mind. Other modelling in lightwave, post prodution in corel paint 10.

Interesting picture and nice modeling, but I believe the Marines were using dolphins to help locate mines set by others, so that they could be removed, not offensively. Very smart creatures and they seem to like mankind for some unknown reason.

Bigben Thats what I ment by tag (they left a bouy to mark it) or do you mean the image. But its not a new idea by any means to use animals and not always defensively. Dogs, Elephants, Horses etc. have all been used in war. Mizlaura LOL

I heard also about the dolphins and was sickened by it. Not just because they are everyone's favourite creature but as you put it, "how far will we go'. We used children for the same purposes in Vietnam...
