i love the contrast especially. He seems so charged by pain and despare, while no one takes care around, and all looks like a fake calm mirror of cuteness while he feels lost. Beautiful work :)

Lots of conflicting senses here: emptiness, restlessness, hypersensitivity, blankness - a strong evocation of loss. Wonderful pic :-)

For me it seems that he is hostile and on his guard against a world that totally ignores him. He has nowhere to go with those feelings he has.
