Description
First post from Poser 4. No post work done as I would like some suggestions as to what to do next. I'm working on a background in Bryce now. Credits to Happy Worldland (skin), Anton Kisiel (eye morph), Kalypso (armor from female fighter), Nemesis (bow), anyone else (sorry if I missed you!) Special thanks to Darrell Glidden and Lee Alerson for some pointers they've given me.

Lee, it looks really good for your first attempt. When you do the background are you planning on bringing in the character or are you planning on applying the background to the poser render? The next step beyond that would be post work to get rid of those nasty joint collisions. Other than that, I like the pose. If she is looking at something maybe have her eyes squint a little. Looking forward to seeing the final post.

I'll go with post on the poser joints followed up by giving the hair some more detail. These days I generally only use poser hair as a reference otherwise I use real hair scanned from photos.

Her face has nice character to it. The hair color could do with looking a little more of a realistic color and not so bright and cartoony.

overall, nice compostion, but needs some post on smoothing out joints, hair (color&detail), and some work on the eyes...they seem rather large and wide open...

Thanks for the comments. The joints and such will be fixed. I can't draw hair, so I'm kinda stuck there. I'm looking for more realistic textures and hair props. The eyes I've been trying to make larger to give her an elven (but not anime) look. What I didn't want her looking like is a human with pointed ears. ;)

Except for the post work she looks great to me.The pose is very effective look's like a skillfull hunter about to cause something some serious pain

I think that the only thing that I would change is to put transmapped hair on her. LOVE her EYES!! Verdie of Dreamspinner
