Description

This colored pencil drawing is life sized. The Native American Indian is a dying breed in our country, yet I thought that this old man showed dignity and pride, even in his poverty.

Superb, great strength of character in the expression and skin detailing and great position of the hand, this definitely needs to be in the Renderosity Hall of Fame! And a nice tribute to the spirit of the Native American people!

At first glance I thought it was a rendered image, but then I realized it was done with colored pencils. This piece hase AMAZING detail for the medium it was created in. Great job!

The colored pencil techniques are exquisite along with your depiction of this fine man. I know that I seem to repeat myself on all of your work, but it is all outstanding with the care of an artist that takes this as personal work. What a privelege to view your work.

Poverty is a term invented by white men, who are truly poor because they think one needs money to be happy. What it really takes is love, and self-respect, which you can see this man has! Excellent portrait, and portrayal!
