This has such symbolism. It implicates Columbus the explorer and his boat, but the boat being built of matches, symbolizes destruction. Destruction was indeed the result of an expedition that introduced so many unknown diseases to the Native Americans wiping them out by the thousands, and not to mention the desecration of their land and culture.
