I never used 3DS or Brazil Renderer so I may be in left field! :) Anyways.. You might want to up the max trace level, max recursion limit or what ever it is called in Brazil Renderer and bump up the photons.

almost there, the caustic "shadows" shouldn't be a sharp almost crystal clear image of the tacks, should be more of a really fuzzy outline. Nice though, Brazil is nice huh!!! I never use anything but BRS! CHeers
