Description
I created this to learn Carrara. Since I belong to the newbie club when it comes down to 3D graphics - I usually get scared everytime I look at the interface of softwares such as 3D Max or Lightwave :) - I was glad to have found Carrara.
Carrara is a great software and easy to learn. I love it!
Modeled, textured and rendered with Carrara and post-production with Photoshop. Thanx for viewing!

Nice image. The lighting is a little bit harsh but other than that it's pretty good. About how long did it take you to model that and also how long have you been modeling? (just aproxamate ^_^)

Thanx for your feedback. Well, I'm more of a 2D guy. So my experience with 3D modeling is about a week old. :) I know a little bit about Poser but nothing like the pros on this site. From start to finish, this picture took me about 4 days. It's made with spheres and cylinders mainly. The reason is that it was the only thing I could create for now. :) Hopefully I will be able to create more complex and more sophisticated design once I learn more about the software.

Crazy image, songkann! Keep them coming, don't despair. After you get used to Carrara, try implementing those techniques in the "big dog" apps, and just go from there. I'm a Bryce ninja, mostly, but I like trying to do landscapes in LightWave just for kicks...!
