Description

Well, this is the image I entered. Took an eternity to finish. Everything is painted aside from the 2 poser characters in it. Both are V3. The mermaid is Nasya by TamelaJ, and The Fae is Hoshi for V3 by me! :) It took an eternity to paint this image, it started out as a 3500x3500 image and I painted the detail on her tail and wings with a 1 pixel brush. Sooo it was a long time in the making! I at least learned that I can paint/draw wings and a mermaid tail! lol Congrats to all who won/placed/got an honorable mention!! Cheers! Gina

This is an awesome image. It must have taken forever to paint all those scales and feathers. I love the reflections in the water, and you had to paint those, too, since they weren't in the original render...even the water wasn't in the first image...Wow!!! I'd say you did a wonderful job on this piece of magic. :O)

This is an exceptional work even without considering the incredible time and effort that must have gone into it. When all that is factored in as well, I think "masterpiece" might not be a bad description.

This one was one of my absolute favourites in the Issue 6 contest... it took my breath away when I opened it. The patience and skill for painting that tail alone is incredible, and you have every reason to be so proud!! I realize with your busy merchant schedule and your home life, you don't always have the time to pour into this kind of art, but I hope you find some in the not too distant future, because we're all blessed by seeing it. I love your art, Gina, and Hoshi is my favourite V3 texture!! Beautifully done!
