Talk about wearing your heart on your sleeve. The point is obvious, which is not a bad thing. What's revealed only upon closer inspection is the extension of the bloody offering toward the viewer. This is a person who doesn't leave much locked inside, is introspective and at the same time willing to share his pain with the world.
