Description

This image is dedicated to tresamie, one of my fav artists here on R'osity. The title, more or less, says what I think of her Art. I used three of her beautiful fractals as materials on the Poserite, did three separate renders and then merged them in Photoshop with lots of erasing and brushing involved. The whole scene is inside a big sphere with a volumetric rendering mapped on it and illuminated from the outside. As you can see, I incorporated the original renderings in the image itself. Lots of thankyous to tresamie for her kind permission to use her art. If you want (and I strongly recommend you to do it), you can take a look at the original tresamie's fractals. They are beautiful, and for this picture I tweaked them a bit (mapped them in random mode with various settings, avoiding parametric), so IMO seeing the originals is really worth a click. They are: * TopRigth: "Silken Brocade" * MidRight: "Pop And Sizzle" * MidLeft: "A Dilemma" One final note. I know, maybe I should've posted this in the Mixed Medium gallery, 'cuz I used PS7, PSP7, Poser, FP filters and tresamie's fractals. But here in the Bryce family I feel at home :) and so, using the feeble excuse that the renderings were made in Bryce5, here I am. :-) Hope you don't mind. That's all. Thanx for stopping by, have a great time and, as someone said to me once, May Your Renders Be Short. ;-) Of course, any comments and/or criticism are well appreciated. Stefano

I too am a fan of tresamie's work. As is the case with many graphic programs, it's all too common for the program to control what is produced, but she has mastered the program and not the program, her. And this is the case with your work too, this image is excellent. I like the pose very much and tresamie's images have been mapped very well.

Very very cool. Do you remember that animation video that was released a few years back called Minds Eye? They did two follow up videos, Beyond the Minds Eye and The Gate to the Minds Eye?.. Anyways this work reminds me alot of material you'd see there.. And I believe that in its self is strong compliment :)
