Description

Heres the 2nd final image i did for cgtalk "races of middle earth" contest. Heres my description for those of you who didnt see my first final :) "This is one of the rare swamp races called Aeln

Great Image. Could you tell us how you did the water, grass and the other great parts of the image?

Thanks for the comments guys :) Basically i did the grass with sasqautch played with the settings abit. The water had a few bump maps on it then i added the reflections of the grass in photoshop and blurred it by hand in certain areas. I really wanted a photographic effect where the sky seemed very bright and sort of burned out the edges of the grass so i did some more postwork in photoshop using some layers and blending modes. Almost all teh textures where created using procedurals and weight maps.
