I was hit by a car once, when I was walking across a busy street at night & this is exactly the way it looked! I felt like a deer caught in the headlights! Afterwards, all I could think about was wanting to get up & out of there since all these ppl were hovering over me... & yes, I eventually recovered, good as new through the miracles of modern medicine & a few pins & screws-
