Description
As Arthur, accompanied by his page, crosses the ward towards the postern gate, fitfully lit by flickering torches, he perceives a figure silhouetted against the last rays of the setting sun.
Although he cannot make out the details of who is there he has a feeling that these visitors are very unwelcome indeed.
