oaks are one of my favorite trees because of their grace and beauty. i love to make furniture in oak.

there is nothing like a 300 yr old Quercas agrifolia to make one feel so small .... my favorite tree is a Jacaranda! =) nice photo!! have u tried taking a shot up thru the tree from the base? its a really interesting angle.

Or what about 'following' a branch in towards the tree? That gives an interesting perspective too, and it leads the eyes a focal point (which I'm afraid I have a hard time locating in this one..) But it's would make a great 'environment' for something (I picture a bright red hat or something on one of the branches) :-)
