Yes this is the same cat. The amazing thing is these pictures were taken within mere hours of eachother! #1 (top) is what Mikkyo normally looks like, #2 (bottom) must have made her look older due to the lighting and where I was sitting. But it was a trip looking at these two pictures and going "one looks like my cat, and one looks like my mothers. And they're both mine!" Thought I would share, thanks for looking!

Or maybe she was exposed to some radiation the the crew of the Enterprise was exposed to on that one original Star Trek episode "The Deadly Years" where the crew aged rapidly.

Interesting fact. I love black cats. Mine is called "Rasputin", but he die yet, and it never bell the same, I think, between me and black cats.

I also have a black cat, which is why I'm posting on here "Algy(Algebra)" looks very much like a combination of the younger/older cat, must be of the same type.
