One of the Dragon Fae
To travel the Dragon Paths between the universes, some Dragon Fae became lightships. Traveling not like light travels, but like Dragons, like Song wends it way through the multiverse songlines. Once they have traveled where only Song and Dragons - and other things, even wilder than Dragons - may go, they are changed forever. It's not becoming a lightship that changes them, it's the Song.
