I agree, POV is excellant-- nice lighting too

WOW excellent work!!! Agree with the POV. One suggestion could be to slow down the bump level, anyway great work! ;-)

Modeling, surface work and lighting are all amazing. Very well thought out and well executed render. I do tend to agree with Guillermo, a bit less aggressive bump mapping might work better. Perhaps have the bump mapping in patches, not distributed as evenly? Well done!

Thank you for your comments guys, youre right about the texturing being a bit overwhelming in places, I think its most offensive on the near left parapet railing. I used the same texture here as Id used on the bridge decking sections where the bump an specula had been been increased to make it more visible in the shadow areas (I should have toned it back down again for the railings), in my defence Id like to point out that the loco is a 75k poly+ model on 97 layers an the bridge a 209k poly model on a further 29 layers an it took me about four hours just to texture it to the state you see it at now, still maybe Ill give it another tweak cos Im still itching to have a go at adding volumetrics........ciao for now, gerry_g ;-)

Excellent ! The only adjustment you should do is to color the bumpers and front plate in black and just add perhaps a couple of spots of rust only. But this is a great job.
