BIO
Since 1993 the Dutch couple, Willem and Madeleine, have been working together in different fields of the arts and chose Hyperborea, as their professional name.
Being sculptors by trade, they have created a substantial collection of stone and bronze sculptures.
They've discovered the realm of computer graphics and this resulted in a large number of 3D renderings of alien landscapes inhabited with graceful life forms.
Most recently they have been working together on various projects in which they combine their sculptures, 3D artworks and original electronic ambient music into multi-media presentations.
Living in the south of The Netherlands, they have their own gallery and sculpture garden where visitors can experience their work.

Magnificent as always. I have an egg in my stone egg collection that is almost identical to that one. the significent connection in my mind is that my egg is fosselized ... a massed group of sea creatures (plankton) and chrionoid skeleton. a beautiful accumulation resulting from alluvial deposits of ancient life. If any of their works can be thought of as represneting life certanly this is the prime example. The patterned formations could be seen as an alien relative of earthly chrinoids. Thank you W & M - for another smile and another great start to an otherwise droll day. :-D

Beautiful models! I have a feeling of graceful dances and movements. This picture would be great for a CD cover. Very well done.

I keep on admiring and loving your "dance" series. This one is among the most graceful.
