Description

I made this for the April challenge. My first entry ever. I figured I'd participate at least once. I wanted this to be more detailed but my PC just couldn't handle it. The wall on the main building is a terrain. The lamps and lamp posts are also modelled in Bryce. Actually everything is Bryce with with the exception of imported textures/maps, and Postwork in Photoshop. As always, my WIPs and bloopers. The lamp of course is inspired by the awesome ones made by Carlo Traversi AKA sbleci. I will be away for a while to concentrate on my schooling, I hope I can come back soon. Thanks for viewing.

Man, this is seriously awesome! The whole composition is stunning! Makes me feel like a freakin tourist, armed with a cam and ready to take a snapshot of some nice architecture... :) BTW, that third sample, with the blue sky, is something i would love to take a closer look at. Looks like something very good...

That's one fantastic wall! The background really helps pull the whole image together. Fine textures, colours and evocation of place. Your little supplements are full of interesting information.

Superb art with greyscales and that wall texture: I want one too!!! Okay maybe I shouldn't be envious, but I can't help it. Your way above me in skill and I'm on a mission, to catch up. Now I know why your absent at the moment. Got to keep those grades up, eh. Excellent bio, on your home page also. Peace out.

This I like, a lot! If I have to go into details, the lamp pole to the left would be complete with a improved texture and bump, anyway a beutiful picture in my taste!
