Great image...very natural looking...the birds look 'flat' though, they need just a touch of some other color other than solid black...they look to pasted in!..otherwise a very wonderful image...I have spent alot of time in the deserts!....thanks

Picture is fantastic, although agree about the birds, they have no lighting to give them depth, however this doesn't spoil the overall effect.

Your picture is very nice and it seems oil-painted (painter 6 post-prod ?). I love the soft colors :-)

Well if you're going to submit a photograph, at least have the decency to upload it into the Photography gallery! LOL! Excellent work, Mike. Must've taken ages to set up. :)

Thanks all! I agree about the birds, especially in that I should have been paying attention to lighting them. Looking at this now, a day later, I see that the 2d quality of the birds seems to conflict with the overall depth, almost ruining the effect I was trying for. Live and learn! It really didn't take that long, especially since I have alot of rock groups and plant groups saved as .vob's. That way I can call up certain schemes instantly, without having to go to all the trouble every time. Of course, initially setting them up takes time...
