Description

This image has been inspired by the PW bedroom and 'my hero' contest. My Hero is a boy who discovered just after entering high school that he has cancer. His family supported him with patience and love during the time of the treatment till he recovered. All the time that boy was learning about his illness, and about the possibilities of treatments. In the picture I show the moment when he is consulting with one of his doctors about a future treatment, while his family waited outside the consulting room. As a background I used The Bedroom props of PW. I used Poser original figures in the following order: the doctor is P4LoWoman with the free body texture of Jose Silva , the doctor is wearing Poser T-shirt, with my texture, and she has a free hair item of Sharky with my texture. The boy is a NudeChildeP4Lo, wearing just Poser man trousers. The mother is Casual WomanP4Lo, the girl is NudeChildeP4Lo. The chromchairs, the oaktable and the deskClutter are free items from Renderosity. The father is P4LoMan with Jose Silva texture. All the poses are mine. Thank you all for your great free stuff! Thank you for viewing my picture.

Beautiful work and story to go with it! Cancer in young children is on the rise and I hope the young man gets better. You did a lovely work here.

This is great. Interesting. Surreal in many ways, yet painstakingly real.

There is always something different and subtly disturbing about your images. This one is in that mould, and I guess that's very fitting, given the subject matter. The use of bright colours and lighting in such a picture is a very clever touch. My one suggestion for improvement would be to add some definite ground shadows.
