Description

whoa, took longer to write the title than to make this thing! heheh nahhh the final animation took about ummmm 12 hours at 640*480 res and Low antialiasing. when i showed amy she gasped and said i made her name into a horror flick, thus the genre and title heheh this is the creation process from start to finish. first i tried with one light, didn't like it, then tried with 2, didn't like it, tried a point light, didn't like it, and finally ended on the single spotlight passing slowly across the letters heheh if you looked at my previous pic as well, this is more 'advanced' simply because it's an animation, because the cone size varies through the animation, and because the letters were cut out of the 'wall' thingy or whatever you wanna call it. if anyone wants the animation, there's a 480*360 version which is 280kb and a 640*480 version which is 763kb. both are quicktime format. IM me if you wanna see heheheh feel free to tell me how sick you are of my volumetric lights :)

Me again. I checked out your artist page and gallery, and here's one more piece of advice. If you want to get anywhere in the pro world, specialise. Forget trying as many packages as you can and focus on the one which you know best, and gives the most variety. I could post a million shit images from when I tried everything in the hope of finding "the one" package, only to discover it didn't exist. Like you, man, I'm still chasing the dream. Hope you carry on chasing yours.

What about a bit more anti-aliasing? I know... I sound like I'm becoming a nag, but I think that you can refine your techniques by pushing the bar up on the quality of your renders. Keep on posting! :o)

cool concept, I thin kI may have to try something along this line. (more anti alias...points to moebius87 and nods in agreement) I think its cool you try out all sorts of packages and just go with it. Seeing the various things you make is always cool. Some are better then others, but there is no need for people like "default member" (wow..what a creative person that must be) to voice their opinion when they really have nothing to say. Keep screwing around Bro, you have a great imagination which flows in all sorts of directions...never stifle it.
