Well, it IS from the show. Its the explosion from the artbeats effect library which ones are used at foundation imaging (and a lot of other firms). The one i used is just a sample image from the website. If someone knows where i can find cheap cds with explosions for compositing i would be happy if you tell me ( artbeats explosions cds costs about 500$ :-( ). Peace

you could try the fire cd by marin studios (always advertised in 3d world) but i have no idea how much it would cost. also if you're into trek, have a look at the trek lighting tutorial by a man who used to do it at menithings.com that said though, yours is pretty damn good (so maybe you already have???)
