the neck under the shadow of the face isn't agreeing with me for some reason... other wise, the use of gradient-like blending in this is not a style I think I've seen before. While i wouldn't say it's a "realistic" way of doing it, I do say it's a very refreshing and hella cool idea that I'm glad to have seen put into practice.

I must have missed this! How! This is so truly cool. I love that B&W sharp cut out with perfect detail. Like mooncat said too, perfect composition, it fills the page so perfect, positive and negative space are so defined yet are not as well. Like a yin yang. Perfect Balance! I used to be a fan of Patrick Nagel.
