Description

This is an example image for you who want to use Displacement to refine your images. This example consist of 1 plane with 1 height en 1 lenght segment. I added a Ramp with noise to the displacement map and render it with renderman using the Maxman tooling from animal logic. It renders within a minute. note the detail!

Is this with BMRT? I keep getting an error when I try to render with it. It seems like BMRT isnt set up right but I did everything they told me to. By the way it looks nice.

ShadowCaster: No it's not with BMRT. This is with the Pixar RenderMan. BMRT doesn't support displacement, although it supports radiosity. Which RenderMan does not.
