mmm I know it's the distance, but the bird seems to be scaled-down... like an eagle the size of a kolibri, maybe if you postwork it a bit, make it look more blurred, it will look to be further away in the background... I think the image should also allow her hand&sword to show completely, rather than crop off a part of it. other than that, it's really great.
