Taken with an Olympus D-460 using natural lighting. Postwork in PSP7.

my! this is an incredibly beautiful portrait of her- i like how her face is partly in shadow but her eyes still reach out- & the warmth & color of her cheeks & violin! the only thing that kinda bothers me is the glaring whiteness of her arm- might need toned down a bit still an exception image :]

Thanks cynlee. Yea, I thought that too. I tried several ways to try to tone it down, but then her face would get too dark. I love the shot, so I decided to just go with it. I may try cropping it a bit more and re-upload tomorrow - if my day isn't too crazy! :)

Try the lasso tool around the arm and then you can darken just her arm. It is quite lovely otherwise. She will have some excellent keepsakes for the rest of her life!
