Description

Sorry bout the repost, there were a few minor adjustments i decided to add. This is one of the few scenes ive wanted to do since i got Bryce, and finally i built up enough patience(barely!) to do it. used the layering thingy again, spent 60% of the time rendering the orcs 7 or 8 at a time. This is what i think the battle of helms deep would of looked like, so its not suppose to replicate the movie, although that would of been cool. consider this my rip-off of Flaks "seige" :) just kidding---thanks for viewing!

On a roll now Woody. Love the point of view, and the patience is evident. This is a piece of work, where you can truly sit back and feel totally satisfied. A magnificent effort, and a pleasure to view. Also worth a vote me thinks.

Great Scene, very cinematic. Even though it's static I almost expect them to start moving.

I would round of the big blocks in the foreground. Even though they're out of focus you can still see the sharp edge.

Nah, not a rippoff in any way - a great work in its own right. I like the lighting you've got going with it especially, and a good sense of motion in the orcs. Keep going, please :)

Normally I boycott sold-out LOTR and Star Wars works, but I knew this one would be worth viewing! Good job on making the masses of orcs, stinky, filthy creatures!
