Rayraz posted a thread that 3DWorld magazine had an article where they compared several low programs to see how they faired against high-end progs. They had 45 minutes to create the scene given not counting render time. It's at this thread

So I did my own in Bryce since they failed to compare this great program (Rayraz did too).
This was all modeled with metaballs except the table and napkin. An enviroment sphere was used to give realistic reflections. 3 hours to render on a 1.67 GHz machine.

Interesting image, but i dont understand on that platform this cup standing...bit confusing for me
