Description
What is most beautiful in virile men is something feminine; what is most beautiful in feminine women is something masculine.
~Susan Sontag
Male and female represent the two sides of the great radical dualism. But in fact they are perpetually passing into one another. Fluid hardens to solid, solid rushes to fluid. There is no wholly masculine man, no purely feminine woman.
~Margaret Fuller

Very nicely done - textures and imagery are great. The while spots (stars?) don't translate into the imagery well IMHO.

I need to start remembering those boxes to check.d'oh. The dots are orbs..onlookers..I had done it in another piece and thought id shoot it over to this one as well.. maybe not..

I dunno about the latter part of the sentence, but the beauty in males to me has something feminine for sure. The malish is about wild charme. A beautiful man instead.. has always something peculiarly graceful that MUST be feminine. I love your picture and the thoughts behind it. Excelelnt :)

There's more than a theory about what you wrote on this amazing picture, especially I like what Rudolf Steiner (one of the fathers of the modern "antroposophy".)told. The picture is excellent. :-)

The way the light catches the hair on his arms captures an indescribably touching aspect of male beauty. Coupled with the corpselike tone of his skin, and the deathlike position, this is a very provocative and disturbing image. So I'd say it's a success.
