That IS a mummy king. This really isn't a big deal, but I personally feel the crown is a little too simple. I think adding too many fancy designs might make it look stupid, but I think the simplicity of the headwear detracts from the real fear-inducer: the face. Put more emphasis on the face, make the headwear less obvious, and you'll have a fantastic picture.
