A slight variation on my earlier pic.
...memories of growing up on my grandparents' farm...just me, my dog, and the wilderness... oh, wait, I grew up in the city... *sigh* ;)

Wow, Mike! Your work honestly blows me away. At first I thought the kid and his dog were the coolest parts of this image. Now I think it's the distant foothills and mountains. You really get such a sense of distance in your images -- I envy that! :)

The composition is perfect as too are the textures and lighting. One thing though - the contrast of the bark on the left tree looks a bit light. Still, this image gets the full 10 from me.
