True artists are not judged solely by the nature and quality of their work. They can be recognised by their capacity to change, to adapt, to leave achievements behind, to move into areas that may be uncomfortable and unexpected, even risking complete disaster.BIOArt in all its shades has always been a part of my life. Just recently I have focused on the fine arts, and have been developing my skills from depicting art to expressionistic art.

Yet I know that it's a long and stony road. And I haven't even started walking it.
True, I am able to do more than stick-figures, and there are some people that adore my art, but as long as I haven't brought my first year in art-college behind me, I won't commit to it ;)

Speaking of art-college... I have started with it September 2003. And when you think now 'OMG, how young will she be?!?' - I was born 14-01-1982, live in Germany, and study in the Netherlands - so you see, the fine arts have come relatively late to me.
I think I started when I was 13, but I _really_ started with it when I was 18.

I don't want to become a professional artist. Maybe doing this as my hobby, but since I am not very optimistic, I will more likely study something that is 'secure', yet fullfills my needs.
And this will be art therapy.
From there I can go anywhere ...

Anyways. As I said, I started with the age of 13 because of a comic called Elfquest. That's why most of my art is Elfquest-based art. Yet I do other things as well.
Ever since then, other things have influenced me as well, especially expressionistic artists - the reason why I love contrasts so much.
Also, my computer art is quite different from my original media art ... and, seriously, I am just starting to see all the possibilities one can have when computer-coloring. I have been doing this for two years so far, so don't expect too much.
I really would love to have a book about it in my hands some time :)

But I guess I am talking too much, so I will simply shut up now ...
