Description

This is an ode to a picture that I am very glad to have seen. It is one of two pictures of Miss Elizabeth Short, the Black Dahlia in a portrait setting, the pictures are in the book Black Dahlia Avenger by Steven Hodel. I didn't want to copy the picture straight out, so I didn't replicate the flowers worn in her hair or the chinese style painting in the background but the posture,likness and dress style really just the essence of the lovely *live* young woman behind the mysteries and horror. Lots of postwork, hair,lighting a bit of work on the face; EAS char. by me; texture is a slightly modified Mae by Syyd Raven,Poserworld diner dress and warehouse bedroom..A tribute to Miss Short.
