Description
This is my attempt to model the nebuchadnezzar from the Matrix, it's still a WIP. What do you think? suggestions and comments would be great!

Very cool indeed, purhapes you could model that ship from the new film too. (LIgos or whatever) Is that how you spell the name, btw? I wondered, because I was a bit freaked to find out it also used to be the name of one of Saddams Republican gaurd units....

not to mention one of the ancient Kings of Iraq (don't remember if it's Chaldean, Assyrian, Babylonian..too much to keep up with). I think I remember there being more of an electric look to it, sort of like arcs and lightning..looks pretty good to me.

I was having a bit of trouble finding a way to get a good electric look, and I'm still not quite satisfied with my results. Does anyone know a better way to do it? (right now it's a volumetric point light using the "veins" procedural texture)

Very cool, if you don't mind, why don't you show a wireframe and detail render in the LW forum... I'd like to get a good look at that baby.

The "Neb" is one of my top three all time favorite (non-Trekkie) sci-fi vessels. The other two are the "Nostromo" and the "Sulaco" (which recently displaced the rescue ship that comes alongside the Event Horizon).
I think that you've done a terrific job of bringing this beauty into 3D.
