Funny, but poor girl- those things aren't to play with. Though not having the modern name Pterydactyl (note spelling!), these were described by the Roman historian Herodotus as sly, flying down from behind "...to cause a traveller a mischief..." (one can easily guess what sort of mischief!). They have recently been spotted in a large, swampy, remote area of the Congo.
