I don't know cinema but I think if you add a bump map at a low level it would be perfect

looks cool. yeah some bump mapping would work on the cast surfaces, then maybe add bhodiNUT Fresnel (you maybe need to edit the blend to get a good efect) to the reflection and diffusion channels for the smooth areas. and maybe some threads on the screws;). a side note, maybe crumple that piece of paper with some grubby finger prints! good luck

Excellent lighting. Love the flooring.

Nice feel to image, lighting etc. I used to build radio control stuff! Very absorbing hobby, like 3D.

Any tutorials how to do good metal textures?

Nice image Az, perhaps using more than one "metal" texture would improve the image. Creating a seperate texture (with suitable bump) for the cast parts of the motor and a second texture for those machined parts (with anisotropic scratches).

Looks great, and a very clean and neat presentation. About the texture, perhaps a bumpmap with very slight strengh, higher reflection and speculat lighting map. Otherwise its great!
