Description
Yet another piece in the style of Patrick Nagel (do tell if you're getting tired of them). I had intended to enter the piece into that spring/romance contest, but alas, I started too late and now the contest has been over for quite a while. Ah, well. Here you go anyway.
I started with a b&w photo, did some simple sketches based on it, and then finished up in Photoshop 7.

You are really very good at this. I like these better than I ever liked PN's. You have more variety of pose, subject, color; and have captured his style very well.

I say keep them coming as Nagel was the first artist whose work I really enjoyed. I'd love to see you try Ty Wilson or Dennis Mukai as well. Interestingly enough, I have to agree with the other comments here that you've added more color than Nagel would and I find it very appealing. Excellent work.

Wow!!!! Incredible!!!! I've seen plenty of Nagel imitators, but never a real master of the style; the others always seem to get the details or the proportions wrong. This is beautiful work!! BTW, is it just me, or does she look a LOT like Jennifer Connelley? :)
