Description
The courtyard garden of the Hirochiyo Teahouse in Japan.
According to Japanese folklore, wheither it is sorrow, misfortune, ill health, or financial problems--no matter what form it takes--a small demon dwells in every household. However, the demon does not dare to enter the courtyard garden, or it would be driven out by the sincerity of the human heart.
Note, this image is still a work in progress. I definately have some ideas for it, especially whenever I get Poser. Would like to have put some shadowed silhouette behind the window--activities in the other room.

Thanks all! Yes, the ambient light gave me some challenge in this one. The lantern itself was difficult, and continues to be. I'm learning as I go and could always use pointers to better the image. Thanks for the tip and the technique! :)

Damit man how could I have ever missed this one. Im viewing this lovely work of art on a much older computer at public library and it still stands out. Your lighting and matting are out standing. First question of many starts with the floor... How did you create that lovely mat???
